The weirdest part of self-hosting isn't the control, it's the silence. I logged into my dashboard tonight via the tunnel. No banner ads. No "suggested content" algorithms designed to doomscroll me. No tracking pixels firing off to a data broker in Utah, lol. Just my tools, sitting there, waiting. We really forgot what the internet feels like when it isn't trying to extract value from us every single second. It’s quiet here. I like it. #digital #minimalism #selfhosted #SmallWeb #AdFree
