@bearmine@gamepad.club yeah, when really we should be asking "how are you really?" And, for new people, "who are you?".
What we "do" might be someone's identity, but it's not true for everyone. After all, when you switch jobs it lose one, you still need to know who you are.
But "being known" is a bit scary. So we talk about surface stuff.
IMHO anyway.
I don't use my real name here, but I am the real me. That matters more than "being known for doing something". Again, IMHO.
