The #MovieTickets #Cinema chits for 2025, which is still a far cry from those times when there was at least one worthy #Movie every week. Instead limited theatrical releases don’t make it here, and flicks worthy of the big screen get relegated to streaming services.
There is a sense of euphoria in watching a great flick with strangers in the darkened hall, everyone reacting together at those cinematic moments… or even in having thy whole hall all to yourself.

Every year, between Christmas and New Year's, i'd pop the #DVD of #TokyoGodfathers for an annual screening. The story takes place over the that particular week, starting on Christmas and ending on New Year's Day. Have been doing it for years now and it still surprises me with its character animation, scene design (never realised before this screening how symmetrical some scenes were laid out) along with its motifs (12-25 appears constantly, along with the wings of an angel, and many others).
This year, it's the last movie of the year for me, to close out the year and hope the little miracles will carry us well into the next year.
