When are @mikrotik@mikrotik.social finally going to remove the force "admin" user on the web login page?

I've disabled the admin user, having it override my password manager and have to remove the default every time is a real pain in the ass.

Have it check if admin is active first or make it a checkbox to no default please.

Yeah, it was time to swap these out

Looking at the date code on the drive I removed, March 1st 2014, so 12 years old.

OK, scary time.

The backup finally finished (and threw a load of bad sector warnings)

Time to actually pull the fist drive out of the NAS and put in the new much larger one.

Just had one of those thoughts that will keep you up all night, luckily earlier me has actually already solved it, just in a not 100% obvious way when I first checked.

TIL That Mastodon's media cache is LOTS of small files in LOTS of directories. When presented by this, Synology's HyperBackup is VERY slow to walk them all to decide if they have been changes & need pushing to the S3 bucket setup as a back up location. It took 14hrs to push 99GiB yesterday.

I added another couple of directories (totalling an additional 1.5GiB) and it looks like it's going to take another 14hrs to check again.

Need to keep this in mind for Dad's off site 1TiB of Photos
