OK I've reached the point in #Hades2 where I stopped liking Hades 1. I'm just beating the game over and over again hoping things will change in some significant way in the narrative.

My #nikon z6iii has done a good job of being the d500 replacement I intended it to be, but picking up my d500 again recently, I've still got a lot of fondness for it. So quick, nice LCD, and I missed that shutter noise. Not to mention I certainly didn't baby it and it feels like it's still got plenty of life left.

I wish that old landline telephones weren't entirely useless for me because sometimes you see a good one

As somebody that loves spaghetti western soundtracks, it's been very interesting to actually watch the movies. I hadn't seen any of the Leone films until very recently!

As much as I love the music of the "Dollars" trilogy, they didn't fit into the movies like I imagined at all. Though they still elevated the movies.

Once Upon a Time in the West and Duck, You Sucker are absolutely amazing in how they use the music. And just amazing in general.

I was a very good cross country runner in high school, and I've never totally given up on running out of a responsibility to something I'm good at. I'm training for a triathlon now. And I feel like running is a basic human function, and my overall health has been coasting on that base that I built up in high school, even now that I'm 40.

That said, running is miserable and there must be something wrong with people that consider it a hobby.

On one hand, I hate how social media has basically replaced websites for organizations.

On the other hand, I don't miss people occasionally telling me "we want to update the website" with no concrete examples of why or what they want to do.

I forgot that Wii couldn't play DVDs despite having a DVD-ROM drive. Nintendo was just too stingy to pay the licensing fee.

A nice little micro turnable that unfortunately wouldn't sing for me. This style where the idler wheel directly spins against the record almost never works well (the wheel is sometimes directly under the stylus!) but it's pretty ambitious for one of this size to also have a radio built-in. And the carrying case is neat too!
