@fahrni@curmudgeon.cafe There was a LOT of negative reaction to the introduction of the iPad versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro as subscription apps. And a lot of people (me included) already own Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac. Making then subscription only would have gone down like a fart in an elevator. Subscription fatigue is real.
