So tumblr just made a terrible update that everyone hates and will massively hinder communication on the platform, and honestly I'm scared that it's going to tank people's use of the site (because it makes the site so much worse to use) but also I'm enough of a veteran of "come to [other site]!" to know that it's never the same and it rarely works. Honestly, at this point I'm mostly on tumblr as another place to crosspost my art and talk about my blorbos, and my blorbos are from a tv show from 30 years ago, and every other site out there is really slacking on trekposting.
HOW AM I THE ONLY PERSON TO USE THE GARASHIR HASHTAG SINCE JULY OF LAST YEAR. This is the problem with trying to migrate to new sites. If there's nobody for you to talk to about the things you want to talk to, there's no incentive to talk.
And yeah, this is mostly me having a wibble because I do not want to lose my treasure trove of special interest blorbo community and I cannot drag my other friends to this show :)
